Education:   College of St. Elizabeth, Morristown, NJ - Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Education with a concentration in special education.
 
Born:           Brooklyn, NY (Sheepshead Bay)
 
Married with one son. We live in the beautiful countryside of Somerset County at the foot of the Sourland Mountains. I am originally from the BIG APPLE, New York City. But, even though, I grew up in New York and LOVE it dearly, living in the Garden State for 17+ years makes me an official "Jersey Girl" now. Plus, I am a BIG Bruce Springsteen fan.
 
I think living in the NY/NJ area makes us very lucky. Both places are so special, unique and diverse. They are extremely interesting, totally exciting and both states are filled with so much culture. I think NJ/NY are two of the most beautiful areas of our country from the shore to the mountains and everything in between!

I am so happy to be teaching at West End Elementary School as a first grade teacher. First grade is a special grade to teach. In September, the new first graders arrive into your class, they seem so young, a little apprehensive and filled with wonder about school. By the end of June, like magic, they have totally grown up, are much more confident and show excitedly how much they have learned. These total transformations are the reasons why I love teaching first grade. From the first day of First Grade to the last, the days are filled with so much promise and excitement. They are certainly always interesting and sometimes, very unexpected! First grade is the foundation for all the grades to come.
