I am a fifth year teacher and graduate of Kean University in Union New Jersey.  I received my B.A. in Health and Physical Education with a certification to teach grades K-12.  I graduated from Kean University with Summa Cum Laude high honors and belonged to the Phi Kappa Phi national honor society.  My intense course of study at Kean University has prepared me to be an informed, dynamic professional in the Health and Physical Education field, and trained me to educate my students with the most current and up to date educational practices.
I am also a graduate of the North Plainfield School District and was born and raised right here in town.  I am proud to say I am a product of the North Plainfield School System which I attended from Kindergarten through Graduation.  I am proud to say many of the wonderful teachers I had when I was in school, are now my co-workers and peers!
In High School I was an active participant in the Concert band, where I played the trumpet.  I am VERY proud to call myself a North Plainfield Canuck and participated in many sports in High School.  Those sports included Basketball, Baseball, and Track.  However, my true passion and sport of choice in High School was playing for the North Plainfield Canuck Football Team.  I was a captain of the football team my senior year, and when I was a junior we re-enstated the "North vs. South Annual Thanksgiving Game."  Playing football is where some of my fondest memories from High School came, and a place where my coaches taught me the value of hard work, dedication, being a stand up individual, and many other life lessons.  I now coach the North Plainfield High School Football Canucks and hope instill the same values in the players I coach now.

I do not only teach Health and Physical Education, I also live it.  I like to think that I practice what I preach!  Some of my favorite hobbies are exercising and playing/coaching different sports.  I love to try new things and spend time with my family, friends and dog Cooper.  Additionally, I love to read, watch the Yankees and Jets, and spend time at the beach where I enjoy boating on the Barnegat Bay.
Lastly I truly love and have a lot of passion for what I do.  I believe I have the best job in the world, and get up everyday thankful that I get to do what I do.  I love working with all my students, and having the opportunity to teach them how to be healthy and physically fit.
