NPMS Teacher Appointed Institute for Teachers of Color Fellow

Erinn Johnson, North Plainfield Middle School English Teacher, has been selected as a 2026 Institute for Teachers of Color (ITOC) Fellow. ITOC is a nationally recognized, ongoing professional development fellowship designed to support the well-being, racial literacy, and racial justice leadership of teachers of Color working in K–12 public schools that serve students of Color.

Celebrating NPHS Winter Guard’s “Groovin’” Success

The NPHS Winter Guard capped off an exceptional season with a historic 2nd-place finish at the MAIN Championships. After months of dedication to their show “Groovin’,” the team also earned a 1st place victory at their final competition of the regular season. Together, these milestones highlight a season defined by growth, achievement, and pride for the North Plainfield performing arts community.
