For the third year in a row, North Plainfield School District has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education.

Saja Singletary and Anthony Penaranda were recognized at the 24th Annual Greater Middlesex Conference (GMC) Sportsmanship Luncheon, held at the Pines Manor in Edison, NJ. Both students were honored as recipients of the prestigious Dan Hayson Memorial Sportsmanship Award, which is presented annually to student-athletes who demonstrate exemplary sportsmanship, character, and leadership.

The New Jersey Department of Education recently recognized North Plainfield Middle School (NPMS) as one of the 52 New Jersey schools that demonstrated exceptional growth in student performance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
