On Saturday, March 14, 2026, North Plainfield girls wrestler Amaree Walker earned 3rd place at the NJSIAA Girls Wrestling Championships held in Atlantic City. Amaree becomes the second girls' wrestler in North Plainfield history to reach the state championships and finish on the podium.

The NPHS Girls Wrestling Team competed in the first-ever Girls Wrestling District Tournament. They faced tough competition, and four of our wrestlers are advancing to the regional tournament! For the boys’ team, Alex Kruszczynski delivered an impressive showing, finishing 2nd in his weight class at the district tournament.

North Plainfield senior Chloe Rodriguez made a strong statement at the NJSIAA North 2, Group 3 Sectional Championships, earning third place in the shot put.

Gutierrez delivered one of the most dominant performances in program history Monday night, pouring in 50 points to lead 10th-seeded North Plainfield to a convincing 79–38 victory over 26th-seeded New Brunswick in the preliminary round of the GMC Tournament.
