Superintendent's Corner

Dear North Plainfield Community,

I am pleased to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year! A new school year is a fresh opportunity for growth, discovery, and success. We are excited to partner with you as we continue building on our shared mission to prioritize student learning through the academic experience, extracurriculars and community engagement. 

Our seventh annual North Plainfield Fall Festival will be held on September 26th. Mark your calendars, and we hope to see you there! 

With your feedback and support, we launched our 2026-2029 Strategic Plan, which outlines the district’s goals, priorities, and the specific actions we will take to address challenges, enhance teaching and learning, and meet the needs of our community. 

Last September, our community came together to pass the Zero Tax Referendum, which will bring countless long-term benefits to our students and their learning. I am pleased to share that work is now underway on multiple referendum projects across the district. As this work progresses, we will continue to keep our community informed about project milestones, anticipated timelines, and the impact of the work on our schools and school community. We invite you to visit our Referendum webpage for the latest project updates, including current timelines, progress information, and photos documenting the work underway. We will continue to update this page throughout the year so that our community can follow the progress of these important projects.

As we begin this new school year, I am grateful for the continued partnership, trust, and support of our students, families, staff, and community. Together, we are investing not only in our schools, but in the future of every student we serve.
