All readings and assignments for AP and Honors are listed and are required to be completed independently over the summer.
Students in our College Preparation classes are required to read a novel of their choice and should prepare to complete one or more of these possible assignments during the first week of school in September:

- In-class discussion and writing
- Student generated questions and socratic seminars
- Comic strip response/alternate ending

Grade 5
Incoming Grade 5: Students are free to read any grade level appropriate novel of their own choosing. Students must be ready to share the novel(s) with their classes in September on the first day of school.
